Baxa Corporation Awarded Best Sales Team In 2005 American Business Awards
Baxa Corporation, a medical device manufacturer focusing on hospital pharmacy applications, was awarded a 2005 American Business Award for Best Sales Team in a ceremony held June 6th at the New York City Marriott Marquis. The national American Business Awards is the only business awards program honoring great performances in the workplace. The third annual American Business Awards ceremony featured Ali Velshi, host of CNN’s The Turnaround, as Master of Ceremonies for the program honoring more than 1200 nominees competing for awards in 55 categories. Baxa was honored with seventy-three other companies chosen from the semi-finalists.

Accepting the award, Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing Claude Hooton stated, “At Baxa, our entire company is our sales team. Among the other honorees at the American Business Awards, Donald Trump accepted a Lifetime Achievement Award with a speech acknowledging the importance of family and integrity. Countrywide Home Loans Receives 2005 Corporate Service Award from the Colorado Association of Home Builders
BEAVER CREEK, CO (September 29, 2005) — Countrywide Homes Loans, Inc., a member of the Countrywide family: America’s #1 residential lender*, is the 2005 Corporate Service Award recipient for the Colorado Association of Home Builders (CAHB). The announcement was made this morning by Bob Leach, CAHB president, at the association’s annual Rocky Mountain Builder Conference held here through October 1.
Leach says Countrywide has been a standout for a number of years in its service to both the CAHB and home builders associations throughout the state with volunteer and financial contributions. Michael D. Sanderson, vice president and regional builder manager for Countrywide, accepted the award.
"Countrywide’s Michael D. Sanderson has been a driving force behind his company’s contributions to the CAHB over the years," Leach explains. "In 2003, Michael significantly stepped up Countrywide’s participation in the Builder Conference with sponsorships, parties, people and support. Last year he was asked to chair the conference committee and received the New Volunteer Award."
This year Sanderson served on the Conference Committee and the CAHB editorial board that oversees publication of the Colorado Builder Forum. In the current issue of magazine, he authors “Financing Solutions for the Burgeoning Second-home Market.”
CAHB is the statewide representative of the building industry, serving and representing over 3,800 members and affiliated local associations, striving to meet the housing needs of all Coloradoans.
